VRFF is using Virtual Reality (VR) technology, allowing film production team to preview movie scene. The aim is avoid any production mistake before building a real movie scene. The production team adopts VR technology to prepare a virtual scene which designed by movie arts production team, from that they can predict any production problem and press a “Key” to preview the actual scene after changing the green screen. From now on, the production schedule can be speeded up and shunned away from production misspending.

“VR Film Factory” is a one-stop interaction design solution to the pre-production issues of film and advertising. Film director and art director can wander in a 720 degree panoramic virtual environment and design scenes of movie. The solution saves time and budget. The judges stated that the production team produces an interactive product of high image quality contributing to the movie and advertising industry. It is believed that more industries will be benefited if the solution is widely promoted. |
