The main storyline of “The Hopping Dead” is based on a series of popular Hong Kong zombie films in 1980s. The production team fully utilizes the virtual reality (VR) technology and produces a game with strong movie sense. Player enjoys the game by realistic and scary images. The zombies are lively. Although scary, player cannot resist playing the game. The scene is a dead body storing place. Using magic weapons such as color spells, the eight diagrams battle array, myrtle sword and so on, player acts as an oriental wizard exorcist and wins scores by attacking demons. The judges believe that launching game and movie simultaneously is a good idea of promotion. In addition, the game has a good market potential and high commercial value, so the judges recommended the production team to develop other side products to achieve win-win situation with product manufacturers. |
